The American Legion Orange Baker Post 187 has rich historical roots. It was formed in 1948 following World War II. Its members have served in World War II and conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Afghanistan and Iraq.The post also has had members who were part of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first Black fighter pilots in the military. The building houses memorabilia from various branches of military service. Honoring the service, sacrifice, bravery and achievements of
