Bernie's Book Bank creates pathways to success through children's book ownership. We empower children to explore new ideas, gain knowledge and strengthen reading skills with free, quality books. The organization sources, processes, and distributes eight free books annually to children, ages birth through sixth grade, through Title I schools and early childhood programs throughout Chicagoland.
Community members can donate new & gently used children's books, volunteer at one of our 18 weekly volunteer sessions, invest in the children we serve and attend fundraising events to support our mission. Visit our website to learn more.
