Duane E. Dewey AMVETS Post 1988 was named after Duane Edgar Dewey (November 16, 1931 – October 11, 2021) who was an American combat Marine. He received the United States military's highest decoration for valor, the Medal of Honor, for his actions on April 16, 1952, during the Korean War.
