Since 1907, The YWCA Houston has been on a mission to eliminate barriers and empower women and girls at every stage of their life. Youth Programs- Addresses the significant gender gap in girl's development of interest and skills in STEM. CAMPS- to empower teen girls with career exploration, prevention education, and enhancing their self-esteem and self-confidence. Young Women's LEADERSHIP Council- opportunity for teen girls ready to develop their leadership skills, serve as role models in their community who are passionate about empowering women and girls. YWCA CHOICES-provides scattered sites housing for women and children who have been chronically homeless. MEALS on WHEELS-provides home delivered meals to homebound seniors 60 and over.
