Piedmont Health Care Center is located at the foot of beautiful Dugger Mountain in Calhoun County, Alabama. We are a 5-Star-rated, 91-bed skilled nursing facility, sitting on a 5-acre campus that includes a free-standing Memory Care facility. We also offer Outpatient Therapy services. In 2019, we were selected as the location for an Open Spaces Sacred Places ™ Garden, that caters to those seeking a healing environment.
Our organization is a non-profit entity, owned and operated by The Piedmont Health Care Authority, an entity of The City of Piedmont, AL. Our five-member Board is a non-compensated organization and receives no monetary reward to serve our residents.
