The Verdant Health Commission offers many free or low-cost health education and prevention classes at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, including cooking demonstrations taught by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, chronic disease prevention programs, support groups, and more. Verdant also invests in innovative programs that will make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of South Snohomish County residents, funding programs that empower people to make healthy decisions and get the care they need to stay well. Verdant has been the program of Public Hospital District No. 2, Snohomish County, since 2011, but for nearly half a century, we served the health needs of our community by managing the local community hospital.
