Children’s Aid Society of Alabama (CAS) was formed in 1912 and is a nonprofit agency serving children, youth, and their families with the mission of changing lives, building families, and strengthening communities. We assist families with problem-solving, processing trauma, providing support and creating healthy relationships. We help Alabama families through every step of the adoption journey from certification training, home visits, FREE on-going family counseling and numerous FREE training programs and resources. We also train foster parents and help organizations prevent child trafficking. Our vision is to serve as the leading resource in forging lifelong connections and linking community supports that preserve and sustain families.
