We are a nonprofit children’s charity dedicated to providing knowledge, comfort, and support to children with severe illnesses and disabilities. We accomplish this through our unique Kansas City charity programs designed to enhance the lives of children and adults by providing emotional support and education regarding illness, disability, or medical treatments. Our mission is to foster compassion and awareness of differences, which is why we offer a line of specially-made dolls. Each doll is crafted from muslin, a durable cotton fabric, and thoroughly researched to represent a child’s medical or emotional condition, with the goal of giving children with severe illnesses and disabilities a friend “just like me.”
