The “Giving Center” located at 3401 E. 47th St. S. is a nonprofit organization whose motto is: “Freely you have received, freely give.” We serve anyone in need of food, clothing, and household items. We have been privileged to operate for 11 years in the south Wichita community of Oaklawn; but we will serve anyone in need regardless of their address.
To receive services, we ask our clients for I.D. and address if they have one available.
We are open to the public for services on Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm, and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm.
We are glad to receive donations of perishable food, nonperishable food items and/or clothing. Our volunteers can pick up items or be available to unload at our location.
