Founded in 1860, yet still growing and expanding today, St. Peter is an historic yet thriving Lutheran church located right in the Walker's Square and Walker's point neighborhoods. We are a growing multi-ethnic congregation offering regular services in English and Spanish Sundays at 9am and 11:15 with a family Bible hour at 10:15am. We have a new youth ministry, Rock the Walk, a growing Lutheran grade school, Christ-St. Peter, men's and women's small groups in English and Spanish, and many other ministries (pregnancy, young mothers, food pantry). Our newly adopted mission statement is: By reaching out to people of all backgrounds with the truth of God's Word, St. Peter Lutheran Church builds lives on Christ, the Rock.
