The Texas Pool Season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Located near the heart of Plano’s Historic District, the Texas Pool is a historic 168 thousand gallon Texas-shaped pool listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Texas Pool offers slides, an island, beach and water volleyball, diving, grills and picnic areas, snack bar, community garden, Little Free Library and Pantry, Texas Gulf Coast murals, parties, special events and legendary fun since 1961. The Texas Pool is mermaid mono fin friendly and DFW’s closest saltwater destination. #SwimAcrossTexas
