Belmont Housing Resources for WNY, Inc. (“Belmont”) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation and has been dedicated to expanding affordable housing opportunities throughout the Western New York region since 1977. The organization was originally created to administer the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program on behalf of the Erie County PHA Consortium, a consortium of 42 municipalities that comprise Erie County, New York. Since then, Belmont’s connections to the region, particularly to both Erie and Niagara Counties, have continuously expanded. The organization’s activities are divided among three (3) departments: Housing Development, Property Management, and Housing Programs.
