Farmington Safe Haven (Eagle Star Housing)

Description

Farmington Safe Haven is located in the town of Farmington, New York. The Transitional Housing Program offers 20 supportive beds serving a population of more vulnerable male and female Veterans experiencing housing instability. Residents are provided housing for up to 180 days. This program is based on the ‘Safe Haven’ and ‘Housing First’ model of care that focuses on harm reduction with a community-based early recovery model of supportive housing. Farmington Safe Haven is centrally located and is in close proximity to many local amenities such as grocery shopping, schools, places of worship, medical care, banks, libraries, government agencies and general shopping.
