RaiseUp Families offers opportunities to families with school-aged children who are at risk of homelessness to get back on their feet and become self-sufficient. Through our comprehensive, individualized Hand Up program, we work to ensure an uninterrupted education for children by stabilizing the family and providing financial assistance and rental assistance in Houston.

To qualify, families must meet the following criteria:
• Unable to pay rent and/or utilities in full one or more months per year
• One or more children enrolled in school
• One parent must be a citizen, resident, or have a work permit
• One adult (parent) must have full-time employment or be willing to work full-time
• Family has no abuse issues with drugs, alcohol, etc.
