About this Resource

Team TLC NYC's Little Shop of Kindness is a free shop for recently arrived (less than 18 mo.) immigrants in New York who are seeking asylum, Temporary Protected Status, or Special Immigrant Juvenile status. New arrivals can "shop" for free clothing and supplies, receive referrals to other resources and services, and receive a free cold lunch in a beautiful, welcoming, and dignified environment. The Little Shop of Kindness is entirely volunteer-run, and is supported solely by charitable donations of gently-used items and money.
Appointments are required to visit the Shop.
